Mr. Spencer is the Vice President of Finance and Accounting of Broe Real Estate Group. Mr. Spencer joined Broe Real Estate Group in 2008 and is currently responsible for the accounting and cash management teams.
Before joining Broe Real Estate Group, Mr. Spencer was Accounting Manager for the capital transactions team at AIMCO for three years, which handled the disposition of more than 200 assets worth over $2 billion. His responsibilities there also included 1031 exchanges, mergers, acquisitions, tenders and impairment analysis on the full $10 billion portfolio. Prior to AIMCO, Mr. Spencer was Assistant Vice President of Budgeting and Forecasting and Assistant Controller for Capmark’s real estate investment banking division. There, he oversaw the acquisition and disposition of $260 million of 1031 exchange assets and handled budgeting and forecasting for 20 cost centers and revenue centers. Mr. Spencer has a BA in Economics from Rutgers, an MBA from the University of Louisville and is an active CPA.
